Watercolor Bridal Shower Inspiration

If the bride-to-be you’re hosting a bridal shower for is an art lover or just enjoys a beautiful canvas of colors, a soft, flowing watercolor palette might be just the theme to center the party around.

It all starts with the invitation and there are so many beautiful options out there, like these from kxodesign and plpapers on Etsy.

If you want to go the DIY route, it’s super easy to create pieces with watercolors. Take these hand-painted mini works of art for instance: color wheel charger, paint can centerpieces, paint palette appetizer plates, and a painted menu. Create place cards using watercolor paper tags and paint guest’s names on them. Set up an art activity table with canvases, watercolors, markers, and other products for guests to create little works of art for the bride-to-be.

Paint a picture of loveliness with dreamy colors like pink, peach, and white, and add in different textures like ruffles and fringe. Set up pots of flowers for a look straight out of a Vincent Van Gogh painting.

For tablescapes, I love the “splotchy” watercolor look created with brightly colored flowers set against painted canvases and textured table runners.

Sweets, savories, and drinks look amazing when they compliment the soft colors of a watercolor painting.
