It’s officially summer! For all of those brides-to-be and bridal party babes looking to throw an epic summer bachelorette party, I have just the place. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has it all: sun, sand, beaches, delicious food, shopping, and plenty of activities to keep you and the girls movin’ and shakin’. If a destination bachelorette party is in your future, hit the road, or the sky, and make your way to Myrtle Beach. Here are some ideas of where to stay and what to do.
Stay: Breakers Resort
At the Breakers Resort Hotel you’ll have beach-front access, on-site dining, and close proximity to all the Myrtle Beach highlights. Choose from one, two, or three bedroom suites with full kitchens and washer/dryers. Enjoy spa services, ocean-front pools, a lazy river that winds around the grounds, two restaurants, a cafe, Starbucks coffee, and much more. And if that doesn’t suit your fancy, there are tons more hotels and resorts to choose from. Check out the official Myrtle Beach website for more recommendations.
Do: Beach, Bars, and Activities
If you’re spending time in this South Carolina city, you’ll definitely want to spend some time on the beach, and while you’re there, check out the Sky Wheel Ferris wheel located in the center of the beach. After you’ve taken photos of you and the girls up in the air, shower the bride-to-be with lingerie, then treat her to a boudoir photography session. Not her thing? No problem. Purchase tickets for a Broadway show at the Palace Theatre or relax at the Hibiscus Spa instead. Once the sun sets, head to Flamingo Grill for seafood and steak, then Malibu’s Surf Bar for drinks and dancing. If casual is more the bride’s thing, check out Beach House Bar & Grill for a chill atmosphere and live music.
