Awesome Planning Tools to Keep You Organized & In Touch

 

Whatever role you’re playing in the bridal party, it’s no easy task keeping up with everyone and organizing and planning for all the parties and the wedding day. That’s why we’ve put together this list of awesome organization tools that will keep you sane and connected.

Email – a fast and easy way to send off information to everyone at once. It’s also great for keeping up with the details. It never hurts to have a paper trail.

Message boards – setting up a group with message board options is free through places like Yahoo. They also allow you to make the group private. Message boards are great for organizing topic conversations and keeping track of ideas and questions anyone may have.

Skype – a great (and free!) program for conference calls. Perfect if one of the bridesmaids lives out of town and wants to show everyone the dress she’s eyeing for the wedding.

Facebook group – creating a Facebook group will allow you to set up photos, links, forums and schedule events. The timeline also serves as a general message board where the bridal party can start conversations and answer questions. The group can also be set to private.

Phone apps – there’s an app for that! i-bridesmaid for the i-phone is a one-stop-shop for bridesmaids and maids of honor. Google Drive – the new and improved Google Docs lets you create documents, spreadsheets, forms and presentations that you can star, share and comment on. Give access to the rest of the bridal party and allow them to do the same.

Pinterest – when it comes to organizing ideas and inspiration, Pinterest takes the cake. Create a board for things like the bridal shower and bachelorette party and give posting permission to the rest of the girls. When someone sees something they think might be perfect for the party, she can post her idea and receive feedback from the rest of the group.
