Glamorous Cinderella Inspired Bridal Shower

Fairy tales are what dreams are made of, and this picturesque Cinderella bridal shower is just that!  Before Sarah set off to marry her dashing prince charming, her not so evil stepsisters (also her bridesmaids) hosted a striking bridal shower in her honor. Throughout the night, Sarah was celebrated among 20 of her dearest family and friends with warmth and kindness. From the photographer: It was truly an honor to capture Sarah Elliot’s (marketing technology specialist and blogger) “Cinderella”-themed wedding shower fit for kings and queens at her aunt’s Gold Coast home Feb. 4. After 5 years of dating fiance Jonathan Kauzlarich, Sarah was so ready to celebrate amongst 20 of her closest friends and family. The 20 invitees dressed the part: The hosts — Whitney Lasky and Sarah Stratton — and bridesmaids channeled the evil stepsisters in neon colored dresses and bow headpieces, while Sarah wore an ivory, floral-detailed Akira dress with gold pumps and a Cinderella-esque crown.

The decor included glass slippers, decorative mice, heart shaped flower arrangements and pink and gold balloons. “Prince Charming” punch was served and truffle pizza, seafood salad and desserts including “clock strikes midnight” cookies were enjoyed by the guests.

At the end of the night, guests took home candy and a T-shirt with a quote from the original film saying, “Have courage and be kind” — the perfect message for a storybook ending!
